The Craft of 'Fil Coupé'

Fil coupé, meaning “cut threads,” is a specialized weaving technique in which additional yarns are woven into the surface of a textile before being cut to create dimension. Woven at an Italian mill, this fil coupé comes off the loom flat, with its viscose threads intact. Each thread is then individually cut by hand, releasing 1.5 inches of fringe and transforming the surface into its soft, feathered texture. The time-intensive technique requires precision at every stage, while a structured ground supports the hand-cut fringe and allows it to retain its distinctive depth and shape.

International orders ship via DHL Express, with shipping and duties calculated at checkout.

Preorder items will display an estimated delivery window, and payment is processed immediately. You’ll receive tracking once your item ships.

Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of the original ship date. To be eligible, items must be unused, unaltered, and in their original condition with tags attached. Items that have been worn, used, altered, or damaged by the customer cannot be returned.

Once your return is approved, you will receive detailed instructions and a return label. Refunds are processed within 21 days.
